What is a REC?

REC stands for Renewable Energy Credit (or Certificate) and one REC is equal to the environmental attributes (benefits) of 1,000 kilowatthours of clean electricity produced by your solar system. We can help you sell this credit in the market and increase the profitability of your investment.

Does a solar system require any maintenance?

Solar electrical systems require very little to no maintenance as build-up of dust or pollen tends to get washed away by rain. Solar hot water systems have closed loops filled with heating mediums that need replacing every 3-5 years, but this is a quick and easy process that’s inexpensive relative to the savings from using the sun to heat your hot water.
